Pratap Bhanu Mehta currently heads the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi. He is also a participant in the Global Faculty Program of NYU Law School. He was previously Visiting Professor of Government at Harvard University and Associate Professor of Government and of Social Studies at Harvard.
He was also Professor of Philosophy and of Law
and Governance at Jawaharlal Nehru University. His areas of research include political theory, constitutional law, society and politics in India, and governance and political economy.
He has a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and a Ph.D in Politics from Princeton University.
