Firemark Labs is the tech innovation lab for Insurance Australia Group (IAG), the largest general insurer for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). The Labs mission is to build next generation products, new business models as well as bringing experiments to life by harnessing new capabilities in emerging technology, data, design and partnerships.
Firemark’s innovation aims to serve both the core IAG business across ANZ as well as corporate partners and new start-ups in ANZ, Singapore, and the wider ASEAN ecosystem.
Prash Pandit took on the role as Managing Director in late 2018 to lead a team of diverse and passionate individuals. With his passion for insurtech, Prash hopes to continue working towards the IAG vision of making the world a safer place.
Prash comes from a strong background within the financial services and innovation space. Prior to joining Firemark, he served as Director of Product for PayPal Australia and before PayPal, Prash was the Global Head for eXellerator Labs at Standard Chartered Bank.
Under his leadership and guidance, Firemark Labs continues to grow from strength to strength.
