Pradeep Ravikumar is an assistant professor who leads the Statistical Machine Learning group in the Department of Computer Science. He is also affiliated with the ICES Computational Visualization Center and UT’s Division of Statistics and Scientific Computation.
He received his B.Tech. in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute
of Technology, Bombay, and his Ph.D. in machine learning from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). He was then a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley.
