Piotr has been an active player in the global Fintech ecosystem for many years, gaining experience from various perspectives including: challenger and incumbent bank, tech companies, venture building and VC fund. He has been involved in five banking startup projects, including being a founding member of Alior Bank, the fastest-growing bank in CEE
and the first Polish unicorn, which achieved a successful IPO with a $1.2 billion valuation. Piotr also served as Managing Director at BNP Paribas, where he led digital transformation initiatives and fostered cooperation with startups. Currently, Piotr is leading Digital Ocean Ventures, a VC fund that invests in early stage fintech and digital transformation companies in CEE.
