Philo Tran joined GEF in 2007 and works on GEF’s U.S. investment activities. He has considerable experience leading and executing sell-side, buy-side and private placement transactions and has raised over $1 billion of capital in various forms of equity and debt financings.
Prior to joining GEF, Mr. Tran served as a Vice President of Updata
Advisors, a leading middle-market investment bank focusing on the information technology sector. Previously, he held investment banking positions with Wachovia Securities and JPMorgan Chase.
Mr. Tran has a BBA in Accounting from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
