A graduate from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE, Philippe earned his PhD at EHESS. He started working in the Economics Department of the University of Chicago before returning to France as the Dean of Studies of ENSAE and then took the helm of a research lab at CREST to which he still belongs. It makes you wonder how he still finds time to publish in the best academic reviews!
