Philippe Alfroid was Chief Operating Officer of Essilor International, the world leader in ophthalmic optics (1996-2009) and had previously held several operational and senior management positions in the Group including Chief Financial Officer (1991-1996). He was Chairman of Sperian Protection (2003-2005) having been a Director since 1991.
