Philip is a serial entrepreneur who believes strongly in innovation and doing things differently. Having founded several companies around the region inclusive of Singapore and China, one of his startups which he co-founded was successfully publicly listed within a short span of 2.5 years.
Philip has been acknowledged on various entrepreneurial
platforms for his entrepreneurial spirit inclusive of the Shell Livewire Award in 2007. Always dabbling in new technologies and being a diehard hobbyist, Philip has a strong knack for turning his passions into profit making businesses. In the 1990s, Philip turned his passion of breeding betta fighting fish into a million dollar eCommerce business. One of his flagship products "Indian Almond Tree Leaves" used for breeding fighting fish became a legendary story within the eCommerce community showing that "money does really grow on trees".
Philip became one of the top eBay sellers in Asia and was invited to speak on behalf of eBay as a seller in the World Internet Summit in the early 2000s held in Singapore. Today Philip focuses on his latest hobby and passion for Cryptocurrency Mining. He believes strongly that with good management practices and continuous improvement, Cryptocurrency Mining can be highly scalable and profitable through cost optimization, portfolio mining and including in fringe business services. Exploring various opportunities around the region Philip is currently working on building several satellite mining farms around Asia region.
Philip has a number of Professional Certifications including, Chartered Marketer status awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, Bilingual Practicing Management Consultant by Singapore Board of Advisors & Consultant Council, Certified Productivity Consultant jointly by Japan Productivity Centre & Singapore Productivity Centre.
