I have always been fascinated with the design, fabrication and implementation of mechanical systems and electronics systems. Therefore, it was only natural for me to specialize in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Toronto for my Bachelors of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Another passion I've always had is business;
especially entrepreneurship. I joined the solar technology startup, Morgan Solar in 2007 as its first Mechanical Engineer. My mission was to help our founder, John Paul Morgan take the breakthrough Light-guide Solar Optic (LSO) from concept to reality. My responsibilities and experience as an engineer grew along with the company, and overtime I recruited, trained and grew our technical staff as the Director of Product Development. During this time, my team and I engaged in the design, optimization, development and manufacture of the Generations 2 and 3 Sun Simba™ concentrating solar panel.
Currently I am the co-founder and CTO of Able Innovations, where we are working to radically re-envision mobility and assistive technologies to bring about dramatic positive impacts in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
