Phil is a graduate in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University of Technology and joined AiC in 1998 fresh from LUT. As part of his degree, Phil took an industrial gap year out and worked as a Site Engineer for O’Rourke’s on the Blue Water shopping centre, gaining valuable practical experience.
After returning to Loughborough to complete his
degree, Phil worked on a virtual reality project and contacted AiC, who had started working in this area using a package called Realimation. He impressed sufficiently to be offered a post-graduation placement, working on developing VR and providing support on AiC’s new n4ce product.
Phil has also been involved in developing his own software products, such as 4Site Survey and its offshoots, like 4Site Sonar. Working with Andrew, Phil is generally your first point of call when it comes to support and training. He is also a driving force behind new developments, including our point cloud solutions.
