Phil joined Validus as Chief Technical Officer in August 2013 and is responsible for the development of our software products and IT services. An advocate of “agile and collaborative development” Phil is tasked with delivering quality services within an aggressive schedule and building the right team and processes to ensure a robust and efficient
delivery capability.
Phil has worked primarily in the Financial Services sector where he held senior management roles in several companies including 6 years at Visa Europe as Vice President of the Business Systems Development group and more recently as Development Director for Phoenix.
He has a degree BSc (Hons) in Business Operation & Control from the University of Salford and is a member of the British Computer Society (MBCS).
At weekends Phil can often be found performing with The Late Shift, a popular covers band, at venues around the South East or pursuing his other hobbies of cycling, walking or playing golf.
