A resident of Dallas, Texas, Petri Hyde began his career in risk and information systems in 2020 when Scott & Associates hired him as its vendor relations analyst. In this role, Petri Hyde managed vendor relations from a security and compliance perspective for the firm. He managed internal and external data flows between the firm and its
vendors. Additionally, he oversaw project management related to important compliance changes between the firm and its vendors. He also conducted audits and performed information security due diligence related to the firm’s vendors.
Today, Mr. Hyde is as a risk and controls manager for S&A Legal Management Services, Inc., where he oversees the company’s risks related to vendor management, data security, business continuity, and physical security. He supervises physical security systems for the company headquarters and remote offices. His accomplishments include overseeing three consecutive years of SOC 2 compliance.
Mr. Hyde has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing certification in risk and information systems control. Outside of work, he is a member of the Texas Exes Dallas Chapter and volunteers at Mission Arlington. His personal hobbies and interests include visiting nature preserves, reading philosophy and history, playing sand volleyball, and attending the local recreation league Lonestar Sports & Social Club.
