Dr. Sorger is the Otto Krayer Professor of Systems Pharmacology at the Department of Systems Biology, Harvard Medical School.
He is currently the Co-Chair of the Initiative in Systems Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School, Director and P.I. for the NIGMS Cell Decision Process Center, and Chair of the Council for Systems Biology in Boston
(CSB2).
Dr Sorger received his A.B. from Harvard College, Ph.D. from Trinity College Cambridge, U.K. and trained as a postdoctoral fellow with Harold Varmus and Andrew Murray at the University of California, San Francisco.
He is co-founder of the Open Microscopy Environment (OME), and companies that include Merrimack Pharmaceuticals and Glencoe Software.
Dr. Sorger also serves on the scientific advisory and corporate boards of several other technology companies in addition to DVS.
