Peter Slate currently serves as the Chief Business Development Officer for The CORE Institute, a U.S.-based musculoskeletal care and outcomes management company. Mr. Slate is an internationally-recognized healthcare executive and entrepreneur and has served as strategic advisor to companies in Asia, Europe and Israel.
Prior to joining
Excellence Headquarters, Slate was the U.S. Managing Director of ElMindA, Ltd., a neuro-technology company based in Tel Aviv, Israel, with a novel platform for the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders. Prior to ElMIndA, Slate was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bonovo Orthopedics, Inc. He was also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DragonTech International, one of the leading manufacturers of protective work wear in the U.S.
Prior to founding DragonTech, Slate served as the founding Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Technology Enterprises (AzTE), a company dedicated to creating medical device and technology-based start-ups. AzTE has been recognized as one of the most innovative technology transfer models in the U.S. He practiced as a corporate attorney with the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, securities and private equity transactions. Slate has also held senior positions with Baxter International Inc. and Primecare International, Inc., a physician practice management company.
