Dr. Peter Pfluger joined Vinci Capital in 2013 as Adviser for the industrial investments.
Dr. Pfluger is Associate and President of PepTech, Technology Consulting and Management. Before becoming an independent consultant, Dr. Pfluger held several senior executive positions. He served during 10 years as CEO for Tronics Microsystems (Grenoble),
bringing the Company from the startup stage to a worldwide recognized MEMS component provider.
Previously, he spent 5 years with the Phonak Group and prior to that, he had been the Managing Director of CSEM S.A. in Neuchâtel. In parallel, as a consultant for the Swiss Ministry of Public Economy, he has been in charge of CTI’s R&D funding activities in the areas of Micro- and Nanotechnologies. In the 1980ies he led the Silicon Power Devices R&D Group, at the ABB Research and Technology Center in Switzerland.
Dr. Peter Pfluger holds a Masters degree in Physics from ETH Zurich. He received his PhD in materials sciences from the University of Basel, Switzerland and worked as postdoctoral fellow at the IBM Research Laboratories in San Jose, California.
He is/was a member of the Board of Directors in several public and private High-Tech companies.
