For over 20 years, Peter has been leading efforts to improve the cost and quality of health care in North America. Since 2006, he has worked for the Blue Cross Blue Shield system developing and leveraging the United States’ largest health care claims data warehouse. During his tenure at Blue Health Intelligence (BHI) Peter has managed the creation
of the Blue system’s information warehouse, headed its analytics consulting division and now develops and manages BHI products.
Prior to BHI, Mr. Paetsch developed, sold and implemented health care solutions for CompassCare, Orion Health, and QualiCon. From 1996 to 1999, he sold and managed technology implementations with Platinum Technology. Peter’s early career included positions at EDS and Andersen Consulting (Accenture). He passed the CPA exam and briefly served as a commercial auditor for Arthur Andersen after graduating in 1988 with degrees in Management Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
