Dr. Greaney is WorkCare’s founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Medical Officer. He established WorkCare in 1984 as a national occupational health consulting company while successfully operating a busy occupational medicine practice for many years in Anaheim, Calif. His pursuits include research into innovations to deliver practical, integrated
employee health management solutions across the care continuum. Dr. Greaney is driven to produce positive outcomes for employees, employers and society. In 2021, he received the President’s Award from long-standing WorkCare client Costco, the company’s highest honor, in recognition of “exceptional assistance” during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has served as Costco’s consulting Medical Director since 2008.
Dr. Greaney is board-certified in occupational medicine and board-eligible in toxicology. He earned his Medical Degree in Ireland and completed his occupational medicine residency at the University of California Southern Occupational Health Center, Irvine, Calif. In addition to his involvement with WorkCare, Dr. Greaney serves on boards in the PIH Health system, the board of a media company and as an advisor to a health technology company.
