Sir Peter Michael brings a wealth of information to Neverfail’s board from his 44 years as an entrepreneur in Europe’s Silicon Valley. Sir Peter is Chairman of The Pelican Cancer Foundation and Greenham Common Community Trust.
Sir Peter was the founder of Micro Consultant’s Group and from this base he spun out and was the driving force behind
Quantel, a highly successful digitized special effects company for television and film production, renowned for the now universal graphic-arts tool; ‘Paintbox’. In the 1980’s, Sir Peter’s private interests merged with UEI plc and he became its Chairman. In 1989 Sir Peter was knighted for his services to this industry. In 1992 Sir Peter co-founded Classic FM, the first national commercial radio station in the UK. Classic FM has since merged with GWR and Capital Radio to form the largest commercial radio group in the UK, before being acquired by Global Radio in 2008.
His private interests include a notable vineyard in California and five star restaurant and hotel; “The Vineyard at Stockcross”, near Newbury, Berkshire. He continues to serve as a non-executive director on a number of advisory groups.
