Peter Deeb is a Toronto-based CEO and Executive Chairman of Hampton Financial Corporation and its subsidiary, Hampton Securities Limited.
Peter Deeb has made a career out of seizing investment opportunities and building a portfolio that spans a diverse range of industries and sectors, including energy, shipping, mining and hospitality. He has
over 35 years of experience with performing due diligence and providing strategic direction for his clients.
As CEO of Hampton Financial Corporation, Peter has established a long track record of successful investments, characterized by a conservative approach to risk management. He’s guiding his team of advisors to place a priority on providing customized financial solutions and products.
Hampton is a family-run company, structured around the principles that guided Peter’s father, Michael B. Deeb, to become a nationally-respected financial advisor. With three generations of the family now working as investment advisors, the Deebs have established a strong reputation for effectively managing the wealth of some of Canada’s richest families.
The firm offers a variety of services, including estate planning, portfolio management, financial planning, advice on business succession and hedging derivatives. They incorporate the work of retail bankers, attorneys, tax professionals and investment managers to optimize the management of their clients’ wealth.
In the spring of 2021, Peter Deeb and Hampton completed the largest CPC listing since the program’s inception, Rise Capital Corp, raising $9 million as part of the IPO and publicly listing the vehicle onto the Toronto Venture Exchange.
In the fall of 2023, Hampton Securities made their first venture into the commercial lending sector with the acquisition of Oxygen Working Capital Corp.
Peter Deeb is a long-time supporter of the Canadian Opera Company and their Ensemble Studio Program for young artists. He’s a past chair of Opera Mississauga and has also provided support to the National Ballet of Canada, the Royal Ontario Museum and Opera Atelier.
