Insomnisolv was founded on the idea that good sleep is non-negotiable. The founder of Insomnisolv and its somnia devices, Peter Kelley, simply wanted to develop a wearable device that would help you to fall asleep and stay asleep without taking drugs.
Before Insomnisolv, Peter developed echocardiography and MRI systems at Hewlett Packard,
directed software and systems engineering departments at GE Healthcare developing surgical navigation systems and was an integral part at two successful startups, Sentillion (now a part of Microsoft) and Capsule (now a part of Qualcomm).
