Peter has over 20 years' experience in the waste industry. As the Development and External Affairs director for Biffa, he was responsible for brand development and reputational issues during a period in which the company grew from £40 million to £760 million turnover.
Peter is a well-known public commentator on the economic, technological
and socio-political dimensions of the EfW sector. He has been a member of Defra's New Technologies Working Group, Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (BREW) panel and formerly the DTI's Environmental Innovation Advisory Group.
Until recently Peter was the Major of London's appointment as a trustee of the London Waste and Recycling Board.
