Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor in 1990 and as an Independent Financial Advisor in 1996. He has many years of Finance and Management experience gained in an industry and consultancy environment.
He formed Dominic Hill Chartered Accountants in 1992 having worked for various accountancy firms for several years.
During the first 20 years, Dominic Hill Chartered Accountants has developed into an office that is strong in the use of technology and is authorised to train students by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Association of Accounting Technicians. We are a fresh and up to date accountancy practice excelling in providing a human, practical and low jargon service.
He is Chief Finance Officer for a UK based electronics manufacturer with exports to 37 countries, CFO of a cloud based online music store operating mainly in Malaysia and Singapore and CFO of an aircraft safety consultancy company.
He also developed, managed and implemented financial controls in Colleges for the Further Education Funding Council.
Outside of work, Peter was a Black Belt in Karate for many years but gave this up back in 2000. He now pursues the more subtle martial art of Tai Chi Chuan. He likes fast cars and plays trumpet and saxophone.
