Peter is a founding partner of Alpha Associates and prior to the team’s spin out from Swiss Life Private Equity Partners (SLPEP) was a member and delegate of the board of directors of SLPEP and responsible for the operations of the company from May 2003 to April 2004. After starting his career as an attorney-at-law, Peter held several positions
with Credit Suisse, where his last assignment was as Chief Financial Officer and Head of the Corporate Center at Credit Suisse Private Banking. Earlier appointments include Managing Director and General Counsel of Credit Suisse Group and Head of Legal and Tax at Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) in the early 1990s.
Peter holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Fribourg and a Master of Laws from Northwestern University, Chicago.
