Mr. Darbee is an independent director on the RSI Board. He brings great insight into the energy industry. Mr. Darbee was previously Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President of PG&E Corporation.
Prior to that he held various positions including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining PG&E
Corporation, he served as a Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of Advance Fibre Communications Inc., and as as a Vice President, the Chief Financial Officer, and the Controller of Pacific Bell.
As an investment banker with Goldman Sachs & Co. (investment bank), Mr. Darbee was Vice President and co-head of the firm's energy and telecommunications group. He also held positions at Salomon Brothers (investment bank), Kidder, Peabody & Co. (investment bank), AT&T (telecommunications services and equipment), and Citibank (bank and financial services). He has been is active in numerous industry, civic and community organizations, including The Business Council, the California Business Roundtable, and the San Francisco Symphony Board of Governors.
Mr. Darbee earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
