As a Board Advisor to Position, Peter works with Senior Management on Sales and Marketing activities in addition to Strategic positioning. Prior to this, Peter spent his first 26 years at Raychem, a materials science company, and as Vice President, successfully built the Defense Components and Automotive Device Businesses to over $200M prior to its
purchase by Tyco. Peter spent five years at Webex as Vice President of Channels, International Sales and Corporate Development culminating in its successful purchase by Cisco. Besides Webex, he led the Sales and Marketing teams in the Telecom Wireless Networking space at Netro and Purewave/Mercury Networks driving major revenue streams worldwide as SVP at Netro and finally as COO of Mercury Broadband. Peter has a BSME, Magna cum Laude, from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves on the Vanderbilt Engineering School Board of Visitors, the Advisory Council of the HBS Community Partners, the Membership Committee of Sand Hill Angels and Board Member of a few private technology startups. He, spouse and two Golden Retrievers live in Atherton, CA
