After working 15 years in various locations and fields in the chemical industry it was time for a new challenge.
I moved to South Africa and initially got actively involved in a number of charities and wildlife conservation projects. A course in wildlife film making eventually lead to getting in touch with Graham Wallington and joining WildEarth
Media in August of 2008.
Fascinated by and realising the power and potential of LIVE wildlife broadcasting, I got more and more involved in the technical side of the business and things snowballed from there.
In early 2009 I invested in WildEarth for the first time and was appointed as its Technical Director.
In June of 2010 I co-founded Sasashani and was appointed its CTO.
Specialties: A 'jack-of-all trades', very able to quickly pick up working in new fields and environments.
I am equipped with a versatility that comes from a broad knowledge of how things work in the physical world, combined with the ability to easily assimilate new information and practically apply this.
Underlying this is a logical mind and an interest in data analysis and creative problem solving ('Spock meets 'McGyver').
