Peter is Embue’s Consulting CFO. Peter is a partner at TechCXO, a national firm of experienced on-demand executives focused on high growth companies. Peter has held a variety of senior financial and operating roles in venture-backed and public software and infrastructure technology companies including ObserveIT, Lyris, Verne Global, and Exodus
Communications. He was also an Entrepreneur in Residence at General Catalyst Partners and is an advisor to other private companies in the medical device, retail technology, and cleantech industries.
Peter is an active entrepreneur and investor and has backed and co-founded one of the largest franchise groups nationally for Five Guys Burgers. He holds an MBA degree from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University. Mr. Biro is a frequent speaker and lecturer in the entrepreneurship division at Babson College and is active in several Boston-area nonprofit companies.
