Peter brings a wealth of experience and broad network of contacts in the wireless, networking, telecommunications, cloud, and analytics spaces, having held executive leadership positions at service providers, networking, and enterprise application vendors in both the United States and Europe.
Most recently Peter served as Vice President and head
of Alcatel-Lucent’s Customer Experience Analytics business. In this role Peter was responsible for strategy, product development, R&D, and P&L for a suite of Big Data products that address the analytics needs of its service provider customers – from operations and customer care to marketing and C-suite executives.
Previously to that GM role, Peter was based in Paris where he served as head of Alcatel-Lucent’s global public relations organization, and sat on the company’s Executive Marketing Board. Peter originally joined Alcatel-Lucent via Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent’s pre-eminent research laboratory.
Prior to Alcatel-Lucent, Peter held a series of strategy, product marketing, and communications roles at a number of networking, telecom, and enterprise communications start-ups as well as Ardent Communications, a tier one broadband service provider in the United States. Peter also headed up marketing for RADVISION, an Israeli videoconferencing infrastructure vendor.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Virginia and brings a broad international perspective both from his senior role in multinational companies as well as his experience in living and working in Europe, and, earlier, spending his youth in the Middle East and Africa.
