Penny joined Hastings Direct (“Hastings”) in 2014 on a short term contract to develop a project assurance approach for the Project Management Office (PMO). Penny enjoyed being at Hastings so much that she stuck around and in 2017 was promoted to Group Projects and Planning Director. This role included the responsibility for the governance and
delivery of the Hastings change portfolio across phases of analysis, development, testing and deployment. Over the past two years, Penny and her team have transformed the way Hastings work in this space, moving to the Scaled Agile framework and now venturing into DevOps, further automation and “infrastructure as code”.
Penny has over 15 years’ experience in delivering technology enabled transformation and previously worked in similar roles at Tesco.com, Expedia Affiliate Network and as a consultant for PwC, KPMG and Accenture.
