Pearce has been a trailblazer in international business having worked and lived across the globe for most of the last 30 years. He earned an early reputation as a Russia specialist having lived and worked across multiple Russian cities from 1993 to 1995 just after the fall of the Soviet Union and again from 2003 to 2005. This time gave Pearce a
rare insight into the mechanics of the Russian government as he worked initially on the Russian State Asset Privatization Program during the tumultuous years of the post-Soviet era and later as Nestle’s youngest ever Managing Director. Passionate about geo-politics Pearce continued his corporate career with Nestle travelling extensively throughout Asia for the next 10 years basing himself in China, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Central Asia in addition to periods living in Kuala Lumpar, Manila and Paris. During this time Pearce built a strong understanding of the political and commercial workings of Asia and the intra-dependence of its economies.
