Paul joined Achilles as Group HR Director in February 2011. He is a firm believer in recruiting, retaining and developing talent – which is essential in a business with a rapidly increasing numbers of global employees. Paul is also committed to employee engagement and communications and has introduced a wide range of measures to support
Achilles' desire to be an employer of choice.
He has almost 25 years' experience in a variety of HR or related roles across a wide range of industries, including wine and spirits, retail, consulting, executive search and talent assessment and development. From 1995 to 2002, he worked for Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine - a global organisation with many well-known brands – where his last role was as HR Director for Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2002, he moved to be a Director of Xancam Consulting, which helps businesses identify and develop potential leaders within their organisations and in 2005, he joined Strategic Dimensions, a major HR recruitment business, as Director of their search and selection division. Immediately before joining Achilles, between 2008-2011 Paul was Group HR Director for SHL, a global leader in talent assessment and development.
