Paul Thompson, the General Manager of Soaring Wind Energy, has been actively engaged in the wind power industry in recent years. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Thompson served as the Managing Director of the Electric Utilities in Vero Beach, Florida and Lubbock, Texas. Prior to that, Mr. Thompson was employed by General Electric as the
Manager of International Turnkey Project Sales. During his tenure with GE, he was responsible for the engineering, procurement, and construction of international power projects. He successfully negotiated contracts for GE manufactured power generation equipment in Tanzania, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Argentina. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
