Our Founder, Paul Romano, likes to keep his finger on the pulse and he’s also our Head Security Consultant.
Paul is an ISACA CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and ISACA CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), NCSC CCP IA Auditor Senior Practitioner, IRCA Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 ISMS Lead Implementer and
currently holds SC level security clearance.
Paul has a wealth of experience in managing and delivering end to end Information Security and Compliance projects and managing security teams in both the public and private sectors. Paul has expertise in security governance, internal and external auditing, incident management, project management, defining, enhancing and reviewing technical and management system documentation, security awareness training, business continuity planning and testing, risk assessment and management, control implementation, security accreditation and compliance management.
Paul’s experience has been gained over the last 15 years working in highly regulated areas of the public and private sectors. Paul has excellent technical knowledge and hands on experience in implementing cyber security solutions, frameworks and standards across a wide range of IT infrastructure from small businesses all the way up to large corporations and UK government departments having previously held positions such Head of Cyber Security Consultancy, Audit Lead, Senior Information Security Consultant and Information Security Manager.
