Paul is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Partners Capital and is a member of its Internal Investment Committee and its Chief Risk Officer. Paul leads Business Development in North America and the firm's tax-efficient and tax-deferred strategies for individual clients. Paul was previously Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hawker Capital,
a global Commodities fund; Chairman and Chief Executive of Pareto Partners, an institutional investment manager with more than $40bn AUM; Group Managing Director of General Atlantic Group, the holding company for the General Atlantic interests; a member of the Management Committee of INVESTCORP, the international Private Equity firm; and Managing Partner of the European practice of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, the global law firm.
Paul holds a JD from New York University School of Law and BA from Denison University, where he is a Life Trustee and member of its Investment Committee. Paul is the Chairman of the Navy Seal Foundation New England.
