Paul R. Brenner, PhD, P.E., is associate director of the University of Notre Dame’s Center for Research Computing in charge of HPC Operations and User Support. In his role, he advances computation based research through HPC system design, deployment, operation and support. He conducts HPC research and grant development to grow computational
infrastructure and capabilities and directs HPC user support through instruction, collaborative documentation and operational communications. Brenner serves as the university's technical and project lead on research cloud services validation and develops national technical collaborations with XSEDE, CASC and Internet2 communities.
