Patrick is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of QuickMobile, and has more than 30 years experience as a pioneer in emerging technologies.
Prior to QuickMobile, Patrick was founder and CEO of Mobile Operandi Communication which developed the “Mophone” mobile consumer social networking service before being sold to Vantage Point Venture
Partners in 2006. Previous to this, he spent 5 years at Ericsson as Director of Mobile Internet based in Brussels, Belgium where he was responsible for divisional sales, business development, mobile strategy, and external partnering. In 1989, Patrick co-founded Vancouver-based Memex Software which developed a digital TV management platform for global satellite broadcast systems. While working at Distinctive Software during the late 80's (now Electronic Arts Canada), Patrick scored the original music for the video game Test Drive which eventually grew into the world’s best selling racing game franchise.
Patrick was a founding director of WaveFront AC, an organization that helps wireless companies with technology acceleration and commercialization. He also served for 5 years as a director at the Wireless Innovation Network of BC (WINBC) now DigiBC, which helps to foster collaboration amongst early-stage wireless companies in Canada.
