After spending two years studying the idea of scarless wound healing, he was granted the Higher Postgraduate Degree of Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in 1996.
Mr. Mallucci received the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, FRCS, two years later, in 1998. (Plast.) Mr. Mallucci is a fully accredited member of BAAPS, where he
holds a council seat. He is also a member of BAPRAS and has served as a representative of the Royal Society of Medicine's Plastic Surgery Division.
