Twenty-year experience in investment banking and investing in Europe and emerging countries. He has worked for large financial institutions such as HSBC, Fortis and ABN Amro in senior investment banking and markets roles. He also had experience in Investment management roles as a Partner at Silk Invest where he helped build the fixed income and
private equity business from inception. He has been involved in Cooperation and Development in supporting the creation of ABREC, a renewable energy policy agency in west Africa. He is on the Board of a Microfinance company in Kenya that develops financial service products for the BOP and he is a firm believer and supporter of Social Innovation projects.
