Patrick J. Goodman, 49, is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Berkshire Hathaway Energy. Goodman is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial operations. Goodman serves as a director of PacifiCorp, Northern Powergrid, Kern River Gas Transmission Company and Northern Natural Gas Company.
Goodman
supports the evaluation, negotiation and closing of the company's domestic and international financings, acquisitions and project developments. Additionally, he manages all accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgeting, long-range financial planning and internal audit functions for the company.
Goodman has been the chief financial officer since 1999 and has served in various financial positions, including chief accounting officer since joining the company in 1995.
Goodman has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting and management and is a certified public accountant. He received his accounting degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
