In 2017, Patrick founded BodyFast together with CTO Matthias. BodyFast app is the no.1 intermittent fasting app guiding more than 19 million users to lead a healthy lifestyle and helping them reach their weight goal. The app is growing fast and is
available in six languages. Patrick is CEO and manages finances, product development and user acquisition world-wide.
In 2014, Patrick founded Open Publishing, a leading publishing software company from Munich, Germany with about 50 employees. The Open Publishing software enables every publisher to take part in the digital publishing world easily. About 100 publishers worldwide, including the wholesaler KNV and the American publisher Lulu.com, use the service successfully to make their businesses flourish.
In 1998, Patrick founded the company GRIN Publishing (including the German website hausarbeiten.de). The company's leading academic platform GRIN.com offers free and easy publishing for authors through thousands of distribution channels world-wide. The hard work of authors is rewarded with royalties. With 200,000 eBooks and 150,000 printed books on the market GRIN is market leader and offers content out of every field of study.
In 2019, Patrick left both Open Publishing and GRIN Publishing to fully concentrate on BodyFast.
