Patrick Daugherty is the president and chief scientific officer of Serimmune, a biotechnology company that develops diagnostics and therapeutics for autoimmune diseases. Previously, he was a professor of chemical engineering at UC Santa Barbara.
Prior to joining UC Santa Barbara, Daugherty founded CytomX Therapeutics and served the same company as
a member of its scientific advisory board. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999.
