Pat McMonagle is the Executive Vice President of Payment Operations at Viepost. Pat oversees the infrastructure of Viewpost’s proprietary check payment systems, including payment technology development, quality assurance, and software build and deployment processes. Before joining Viewpost, Pat held architecture and innovation positions with
Viewpointe, IBM, Unisys and ADP. At Viewpointe, he architected the Check Image Archive product that manages more than 150 billion images of check payments. He also authored Viewpointe's market leading Image Exchange product which processes over $4 trillion in payments annually. At IBM, Pat was part of the organization that introduced their market-leading Enterprise Content Management solution and was instrumental in deploying the technology to their largest customers across the globe. He is the co-founder of DC21, an alternative payments product based on decoupled debit. In 2003, Pat presented to the Finance Sub-committee of the US Senate when they were preparing the Check Clearing Act for the 21st Century legislation. He earned his undergraduate degree in Operations Research Information Systems at Eastern Michigan University.
