After graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in management information systems in 2003, he worked temporarily for a start-up in Los Angeles, but struggled to find a full-time job in the US and wanted to gain critical work experience before returning to Jordan. Thus, with the encouragement of his brother who have recently started
the Restaurant Associates Group in Amman, Omar joined the French Culinary Institute in New York in 203 to apply his management education ot the food and beverage industry. After graduation a year later, he earned a position at a rotational program at upscale New york restaurant Brasserie 8 ½.
Omar Returned to Jordan in 2004 and joined his brothers restaurant business. After uplifting the business to profitability, Omar as the CEO, incorporated, expanded and branded the company as EAT Restaurant Group.
