With more than 40 years of management skills and knowledge, Oliver brings more than a wealth of experience to the table. He oversees the national field operations of TeamHealth, including:
• Emergency Medicine
• Anesthesiology
• Hospital Medicine, including intensivists and post-acute practices
• Hospital Medicine Subspecialties
•
Ambulatory Care
• Spectrum Healthcare Resources, focusing on staffing for governmental healthcare facilities
• D&Y, concentrating on locum tenens and permanent placement
• PhysAssist, emphasizing medical scribes
Oliver has more than 40 years of management experience in a variety of healthcare organizations, including hospitals and large physician practice groups. He joined TeamHealth in 2003 as executive vice president and accelerated to CEO of the Southeast division in 2006. Under his leadership, TeamHealth Southeast experienced unprecedented growth and client retention. Oliver was promoted to the president of TeamHealth Hospital Based Services in 2010 and was responsible for national contract management of TeamHealth’s Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Anesthesiology, Ambulatory Care, and Hospital Medicine Subspecialties practice areas.
Before taking on leadership roles with TeamHealth, Oliver was responsible for a $1.5 billion revenue division of a publicly traded healthcare company. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and a master’s degree in health administration from Duke University.
