Oliver has been a Partner at LGT Impact since its formation in 2007. He has over 17 years experience in sustainable and socially responsible investment, venture philanthropy and corporate sustainability strategy consulting in Europe and emerging markets, especially Africa and India. Oliver is the co-founder of the WEF aligned African Social
Entrepreneurship Network (ASEN), DeRisk and VantagePoint Global. He was Head of Research for Forma Futura, an independent asset management company focusing on contributing to a sustainable quality of life. Previously, Oliver has served as Manager Research Services and Senior Sustainability Analyst at SAM, Sustainable Asset Management, Research for the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI).
Previously Oliver worked for one of Europe’s largest Asset Managers F&C, specializing on all aspects of Social Responsible Investment and MunichRe. At LGT IV, Oliver is co-responsible for the overall strategy and management of LGT IV and especially for the Africa & India region and has helped grow the international team to 25 investment professionals. In his role, Oliver has overseen all 47 investments made and over $42m of capital invested. Oliver’s role at IVUK is fundraising and ensuring that all the best practices, processes and lessons learned from LGT IV in the emerging markets are incorporated into the investment selection, structuring and management of the IVUK portfolio.
