Dr. Ofer Daphna is an inventor, entrepreneur and researcher, owner of several patents in the field of ophthalmology. He specialized in corneal and cataract surgery and is currently a senior Ophthalmologist at Assuta medical center, Tel-Aviv, Israel. Ofer is a high-volume cataract and corneal surgeon, conducting over 1000 operation per year (about
800 cataract and 300 corneal & refractive surgeries). He is the inventor of the EndoArt implant and the Hyper-CL™ therapeutic contact lens, as well as a co-founder of EyeYon Medical. Besides serving as Medical Director, he is also a Board Member. Ofer has performed about 150 animal operation pigs and rabbits, and will be responsible for training surgeons participating in the clinical trials planned in the project.
