Norma has taught for the UCLA Extension Program, the Advertising Educational Foundation's (AEF) Ambassador Program and the National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC) Institute. She has served on the boards of the Mexican American Legal Defense Fund (MALDEF), New America Alliance (NAA), Promerica Bank, the Los Angeles Academy of Arts and Enterprise (a charter school she co-founded), and other organizations that benefit the Latino Community.
