With almost 20 years of experience in both, the agency and corporate sides of communications, Nikhil leads the Public Relations team at Genesis Burson-Marsteller.
Nikhil joined Genesis Burson-Marsteller in 2004 as the head of the northern and eastern markets. Mentoring and growing his team since then, Nikhil has developed some of the best talent
in the country. As President, Nikhil oversees a diverse staff of communications professionals across seven key markets. He works closely with client leaders to formulate targeted communications strategies, message development as well as providing crisis counsel and training.
Nikhil conducts a number of communication courses and guest lectures at a number of esteemed institutions from time to time. These include ISB Hyderabad; Symbiosis Pune, the Delhi School of Communication, International Management Institute, Lady Sriram College, Institute for Technology and Management, KC College of Management, IIPM and Apeejay Institute of Management.
Nikhil’s previous experience includes his time as Vice President, Corporate Communication for Fiat India. Prior to this, Nikhil was heading northern India operations for a prominent public relations firm.
Nikhil has a post-graduate degree in Economics from Loyola College, Chennai and an MBA from International Management Institute, Delhi.
Off work, Nikhil looks forward to the best four hours of his week—when he plays tennis over the weekend, and the best four days of the year, when he goes on a boys-only fishing trip.
