He is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (where he sits on the IET Cyber Security Steering Group and is a professional registration interviewer), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and the British Computer Society.
