Nigel is GAIN Capital’s Group Finance Director, responsible for leading GAIN Capital’s global finance organization. Nigel joined GAIN Capital following the acquisition of City Index in April 2015.
Nigel brings over 20 years of experience in various financial management and leadership roles. He served as Chief Financial Officer of City Index
since March 2010. Prior to that role, Nigel spent ten years as the Finance Director for Rank Group plc’s online division, having joined as part of its acquisition of Blue Square, where he established the finance function and was heavily involved in its subsequent sale to Rank in 2003.
From 1997 until 2000, Nigel served in a series of financial roles for financial firms in the UK. He also spent seven years at a start-up cable TV company in various finance roles and was involved in its listing on NASDAQ in 1994.
